Season Opener ✔️One in the WIN column ✔️ Girls Varsity Basketball won their season opener against New Berlin West 53-45. Keegan Lodes had 18 points and 8 rebounds, Lola Bond had 10 steals and 6 other Lasers contributed points. The JV team also won 41-27. The girls next play at home at our Thanksgiving Classic - Friday, Nov. 29 12:00 vs. Watertown and Saturday, Nov. 30 1:30 vs. Oshkosh West.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. LAST DAY To Name That Auditorium! Our auditorium renovation is nearing completion, and it is time to start thinking about naming this beautiful venue. While we have a generous naming sponsor, they hope that our students have ownership of the project and select the name. So we are calling on our KM Community to start the process by submitting your naming suggestions. The submission process will close on November 20th. Then, our team will narrow the options to a group of preferred names for students to vote on. The final name will be unveiled at our grand opening early next year. IMPORTANT MESSAGE For Morning Drivers - Drive Safely and Slowly! OR MORNING DRIVERS – DRIVE SAFELY AND SLOWLY!!! Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow morning which may make stopping hazardous. Take particular care on side roads, hills, and roundabouts. Do not drive too fast for the conditions. Use your headlights. Don’t use cruise control as you need to maintain control of acceleration and deceleration at all times. Remember 4-wheel drive doesn’t work on ice! Most importantly, give yourself extra time to drive to and from school safely, and go slowly, avoiding dramatic starts, stops, or turns!

TERNS NAMED HEAD BOYS SOCCER COACH!!! Robert “Bob” Terns brings more than ten years as an educator, working for two years as a 6th-grade SWD Teacher at Kettle Moraine Middle School. He has also dedicated eight years to coaching soccer, currently serving as a Varsity Assistant Coach for the KM girls Program. "As interim boys head coach at the end of last season, Bob showed us very quickly that students gravitate toward him and that he understands the game at a high level. Bob's has a unique ability to listen to our athletes and give them constructive feedback in a way that the players understand. With Bob leading, I'm very excited to see our program's skills and culture grow," said Ryan Tomczyk. Bob is eager to embrace his new role within the Kettle Moraine Soccer family and looks forward to contributing to the program's continued success.

GIRLS SWIM STATE RESULTS!!! State qualifiers Rowan Rossi-Weida, Katie Bell, Chloe Bell, Sara Wiedoff, and Adrienne Prymas represented KM with incredible determination and spirit! The 400 freestyle relay team set a new SCHOOL RECORD with a time of 3:37.04! Congratulations to Rowan, Katie, Chloe, and Sara for this historic achievement, which earned them a tie for 12th place in the state. Individual achievements include: Sara Wiedoff 10th place 200 freestyle and 15th 500 freestyle. Rowan Rossi-Weida 22nd 200 freestyle and 18th 100 freestyle. Our 200 freestyle relay team of Rowan, Adrienne, Katie, and Sara claimed 15th place overall and is about a half second away from another school record.

GIRLS SWIM HEADED TO STATE!!! A number of individuals have qualified for the WIAA Girls Swim State Meet on Saturday, November 16th at Waukesha South: 200 Freestyle: Sara Wiedoff & Rowan Rossi-Weida, 100 Freestyle: Rowan Rossi-Weida, 500 Freestyle: Sara Wiedoff, 200 Freestyle Relay: Rowan Rossi-Weida, Adrienne Prymas, Katie Bell, Sara Wiedoff, 400 Freestyle Relay: Rowan Rossi-Weida, Katie Bell, Chloe Bell, Sara Wiedoff. Quinn Lodes took 2nd at Sectionals for diving, narrowly missing qualifying, but earning a PR and landing the title of #4 freshman in the state. The Division 1 diving competition is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with the swimming events to begin at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $9 plus online fees for adults and students. WELL DONE DANCE TEAM! The dance team did great at their first competition of the season on November 9th! D2 Pom - 2nd Place D1 Hip Hop - 3rd Place Ava Schlueter’s Solo got 7th place! Natalie Rhodes Solo got 8th place! Natalie Rhodes and Ava Schlueter’s Duet got 3rd place! Madison Green, Sophia Wergin, and Delilah Pipp’s Trio got 1st place!
