PHENOMENAL C8 CONFERENCE MEET FOR KMHS GIRLS AND BOYS CROSS COUNTRY!
This past weekend your KMHS Cross Country Team brought home 32 new lifetime personal bests starting off with Girls JV. Adi Davis led the way and started the record-breaking day placing 9th overall. Grace Wagner, Caedence Gliniecki, and Sophie Schoen were not far behind.
The JV Boys were up next, and Freddy Hertneky kept the records breaking, placing 10th overall. Brady Hartmann, Zach Harris, Brady Lammert, and Henry Stabelfeldt finished up the scoring for the boys.
Next, it was off to the Varsity Girls, where Lola Schwartz earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors, and freshman Anniston Ricks placed in Honorable Mention All-Conference.
Boys Varsity then capped an amazing meet with the highest placing finish ever by a Kettle Moraine boys team in the classic 8. Isaac Kirby led the way, not only earning 1st team All-Conference with his 4th place finish, but also claiming the number 2 all-time fastest laser in school history, running a 16:08! Graham Kelchen took home a 2nd Team All-Conference, and Ryan Montes de Oca and Carter Schroeder got Honorable Mention All-Conference. Sophomore Will Fisher finished out the scoring 5, to bring home a 3rd place finish for the team.
There is not a single athlete who did not run an amazing race!
The lasers take an off week, before heading to sectionals with real hopes of qualifying for the State Meet, so mark your calendars for the 26th, it's an electric environment you're not going to want to miss.

FOUR KMHS GIRLS TENNIS PLAYERS HEAD TO STATE!
Four of your Lasers have qualified for the WIAA Individual State Tournament! #1 and #2 Singles, Ella Wagner and Josie Sueflohn, as well as #1 Doubles, Ava Theodorakis and Mira Derrig, are all playing for their shot at the State Championship. They will compete at Nielsen Stadium in Madison starting Thursday, 10/17.
This is Ella's second consecutive year going to state; she finished fourth overall last year in doubles. Josie has made it to individual state competitions all four years she’s been a Laser! This is both Mira and Ava's first time going to individual states!
Best of luck to our Lasers and their tournament!

KMHS HOMECOMING PEP RALLY!!! The fun started with a traditional KM drum line that led students to the west gym to watch cheer and dance routines, a powder puff squad performance and then participate in a number of games like head and tails, toilet paper mummy, dizzy bat race, hula hoop line, and more. Homecoming court was introduced, followed by our annual class competitions in tug -o-war and class chants. The annual event was a great way to fire students up for all of the homecoming activities.
