National Merit Semi-Finalists
Bridget Duffy of KMHS and Madeline Bruss of KM Global have been recognized with this impressive academic distinction. According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, around 16,000 students qualify as National Merit Semifinalists each year. Students are chosen from the top scorers on the PSAT, with the cutoff score varying by state. Semifinalists then need to meet additional requirements to become Finalists and potentially win a National Merit Scholarship. Devin Johnson of KMHS, and Delaney Eldridge of HS^2 were also recognized as commended students.
